As fans of television and books there are things we’ve become accustomed to: the common book-to-TV/film adaptation and, sadly, the common “ratings game” that puts any and all of our favorite television shows on the cancellation plank. So what happens when we reverse the first model and attach it to the second? Our beloved characters come back to life nestled safely between a book’s covers! 

Here are 6 television shows that lived on as novels or comics, listed in order of cancelation date.

February is the pinkest month, thanks to Valentine’s day. But photographer Dustin Fenstermacher—supplier of eye-popping images for the Quirk titles How to Make Your Cat an Internet Celebrity and the award-winning How to Make Your Baby an Internet Celebrity—seems determined to make pink a fashionable choice all year round.

Because he’s teamed up with designer and photography consultant Neil Binkley to create a photo series that we think features some of his best non-cat non-baby work ever.

Here at Quirk Books, we put lots of time and thought into our book covers. And that's why they've won awards and accolades all around the world and in space. But I think we can all agree that one thing would make our amazing covers even better: Me. So here's a glimpse into an alternate universe which is the same as our own, except I appear on every Quirk book cover!

Next month, we've got two very fancy books coming out, illustrated and written by Wilhelm Staehle. Stars & Swipes (pictured above) and Hugs & Misses. 

Some of you might know Wilhelm from his hilarious silhouette-webcomic Silhouette Masterpiece Theater. Others might recognize his name as the alter ego for an incredibly talented book designer in New York, who has worked on covers for folks like Michael Chabon, MIchael Crichton, and many, many more. However you know the guy, we are excited to be publishing his postcard books, which collect some of his best and wittiest cutouts.
