    What's better than a cinnamon roll? While we could go on and on about how much we love this sticky sweet dessert, we’d much rather talk about the other cinnamon rolls in our lives – the ones that are too good for this world, too pure. Yes, we’re talking about fictional characters. The very sweetest ones.

  • At long last, Mulan is finally being released in full live action glory. We have such distinct memories of the first time we saw that movie – one badass moment after another. Mulan was everything! She wasn’t technically a princess, so we didn’t feel sucked into that marry the prince mentality. And yet she still had her own hero’s journey, one that leaves so much room for discussions about gender roles and non-binary identity, especially now that we have that language.

    Lockdown has turned us all inward, seeking new things to pass the time and getting to know our family better. Sometimes this awakens new talents and unforeseen depths of caring in loved ones.
