To continue our week-long celebration of all things Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge, we're pulling up a barstool in some of our favorite bars in pop culture.

Moe's Tavern - The Simpsons

Any TV buff will list Moe's Tavern as one of the most iconic bars in pop culture. This classic animated bar is the second home to lovable oaf, Homer Simpson and friends. Located in Springfield (state unknown) and run by the short-tempered Moe Szyslak, who is also the bartender. The Simpsons wouldn't be the same without Moe's, which has included some of the funniest moments in the show's 27-year history!

The Leaky Cauldron - Harry Potter

As a bar for witches and wizards, The Leaky Cauldron, is not very magical-looking. However, it is the bar where Harry and his friends frequent the most throughout the series. Since it's centrally located in London on Charing Cross Road, this bar/inn is the gateway into Diagon Alley. The Leaky Cauldron stands out from the rest because it offers the first glimpse into the magical world that Harry encounters, and holds a special place in many readers’ hearts.

Paddy's Pub - It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Located in, you guessed it, Philadelphia, Paddy's Pub is owned and operated by "The Gang." The pub is often where the Gang's notorious schemes and cons occur, such as hosting a children's beauty pageant. Paddy's doesn't seem to be very successful, and has even been labeled "the worst bar in Philadelphia." This underrated show has captured the hearts of millions of fans, with Paddy's Pub being their number choice of fictional bars to visit!

The Winchester - Shaun of the Dead

When you think of Shaun of the Dead, two things come to mind: zombies, and The Winchester Pub. Set in modern day London, this plain-looking pub is where Shaun and his friends hang out and have a pint. It's named after the Winchester rifle that is located above the bar. When a zombie outbreak occurs, the Winchester is also where our heroes make their last stand against the undead horde. Pop culture enthusiasts know that this is the place you want to go when the end of the world occurs.

Merlotte's - True Blood

Both supernatural creatures and humans like to visit the fictional watering hole known as Merlotte's Bar and Grill. Nestled between the swamps of Bon Temps, Louisiana, Merlotte's is owned and operated by shapeshifter Sam Merlotte. With vampires as customers and a mind reading waitresses, you don't know what to expect in this southern establishment. True Blood fans everywhere would love to grab a quick "bite" at this popular bar.
