The Art of Miss Peregrine’s
Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly released exclusive on-set photos from the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children movie. In The Art of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Leah Gallo takes us behind the scenes to show how the Ransom Riggs' photographs were crafted into a book, which then Tim Burton turned into a movie.
Tim Burton's first step into the Peculiar world was with his collaborator and concept artist, Dermot Power. Powers' early artwork reminded us of all the wonderful fan art we received during our #5PeculiarYears contest and we just had to share with you.
Enjoy!
“Early artwork by Dermont Power illustrating an underwater scene with Emma and Jake.”
“A few of Poers’s many early concepts for the children’s home.”
“Power’s early concept for Emma and her lead boots.”
