It's time for a Liam Neeson Literary Roles post, and we're fawning over every literary role he’s ever performed. As difficult as it will be, let’s forget about the Taken series for a moment (or as long as it takes for you to read this blog post) and join us for a journey into the worlds of King Arthur, Victor Hugo, C.S. Lewis, and Patrick Ness.

  • If you’re a fan of true crime, find a list of recommended true crime documentaries and books is just a google away. It’s a bit harder to find a list of solid fiction recommendations; books and tv shows that scratch that itch for shocking, twisty, and compelling crime drama. We at Quirk have you covered with pop culture that will keep your eyes glued to pages and screens long into the night. Shout-out to the murderinos out there – this one’s for you!

Today is International Kissing Day, but who needs just one day of the year to celebrate that wonderful moment when lips meet and sparks fly? We’re still celebrating the magic of kisses in pop culture… and awkwardly laughing at the less-than-magical ones, too. From the badly written to the cringeworthy, we’ve got some of the worst lip-locks on page and screen for you. But don’t worry, we’ve rounded up a few of the very best, too. Pucker up for the best and worst kisses in pop culture, ranked.

  • We’re five weeks into The Bachelorette and it’s anyone’s game. There are so many chiseled and coiffed men vying for Becca’s attention, it makes our heads spin. (Some would say too many men and we see you, Jordan. And we also see that villain edit you’re getting.) But in a world where everyone’s phones have been taken away and there’s a suspicious lack of food, what else is there to do but read? We took the time to come up with book recommendations for some of the more, um, memorable men in the mansion. Who knows. Maybe it’ll keep them occupied between group dates.

It is the age of the reboot. Or at least it seriously feels like it! While we’re currently excited for the Charmed reboot, we can see why so many viewers feel overwhelmed by the amount of that-thing-that-ended-is-getting-resurrected on TV. Which is why we’re here to offer a new kind of reboot we very much want to see: TV characters we’d love to see star in PI novels.

  • In honor of Chris Evan’s birthday, and his iconic role as Captain America, we here at Quirk Books are celebrating some of the goodest boys in fiction.
