  • While the Walking Dead has had a bit of a controversial run this last year and a half, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still one of the best shows on television. As the show runs into its eighth season, it is becoming a bit of a question of what the characters do in their down time. Not every single moment of every day can be filled with killing zombies and fighting Negan, right? So with that in mind, we thought it would be nice to give the characters some reading suggestions for the next time they walk into a town and have a chance to raid a library. After all, there must be tons of great books laying around in the zombie ravaged land, they aren’t exactly the same type of commodity as food or weapons.

  • Do you feel that? There’s a chill in the air and everything smells like pumpkin. Halloween is just around the corner and while your friends might be prepping their bloodiest costumes and scoping out haunted houses, you’re just hoping no one drops a bucket of pig’s blood on you. We get it. Scary isn’t everyone’s idea of a good time. Which is why we’ve put together this list of slightly spooky stories where something’s just a little off – paranormal books that will get you in the Halloween spirit without keeping you up all night.

  • Valentine’s Day. The day we celebrate all matters of the heart: love, kindness, hope, and the hunger of the undead. This year decorate for the big day with that oft-forgotten sort of love: the longings of a flesh-starved zombie! Make this garland in festive felt and hang it up anywhere. We can’t say where you’d like to hang it - but draping it over your desk at work, or along the doorway to welcome your true love to dinner sound just perfect for this heart-felt holiday. Here’s our step-by-step guide to make your own!

  • The LEGO Batman Movie, written by our own Seth Grahame-Smith, is in theaters tomorrow! You may recognize Seth from a little best seller called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. To celebrate, Kristen from My Friends Are Fiction created a mashup of LEGO and the cover of PPZ. Now that's rad!

  • Zombies represent some of our scariest dreams—dying, destruction, invasion, an overall death of society as we know it. They are our collective nightmare. We fear them but we are obsessed with them because they make us question what we would do at the end of the world. Would we step up to the plate and come out guns blazing or would we cower and hide in our basement to try to wait it out? We consume zombie-themed media in the hopes we’ll find inspiration for our inevitable demise in the zombiepocalypse. Though this list could’ve been forever long, the following are some of the best when it comes to undead-ass-kicking inspiration.
