Believe it or not, convention season is already upon us. No, we're not talking about Comic Con. We're talking Midwinter ALA. And we don't even have to leave our backyard!

Well, we kinda do. I mean, Quirk doesn't really have a backyard. Unless you count that cute dog park down the street… but whatever. What I'm saying is we don't have to leave Philadelphia. Because Midwinter ALA is here

Swing by the Random House booth (#0831), where you'll be able to pick up some fun giveaways, including posters of How To Make Your Cat an Internet Celebrity and Find Momo. As for events, we've got two awesome ones lined up for you.

Saturday, January 25th
From 3pm to 4pm, there's a What's Cooking demonstration with Maria del Mar Sacasa, author of Winter Cocktails.

Monday, January 27th
From 8:30am to 10am, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City author Ransom Riggs will be speaking at the Library Reads and AAP Booktalk Breakfast (Space is Limited; RSVP here) Room PCC-122B.

So stop by, pick up swag, or go meet an author!
