Gaze at the Manhattan skyline while hearing from Jami Attenberg (Saint Mazie) and Kate Bolick (Spinster) at the Books Beneath the Bridge reading series. Saint Mazie, based on the real life “Queen of the Bowery,” Mazie Phillips-Gordon, “seduces its reader with ease, making the most of fact and fiction while playfully pushing the boundaries of form,” according to B&N Reads. There will be a Q&A and book signing following the reading. You can read the first five chapters of Jami Attenberg’s new novel Saint Mazie right here.
