We're all really excited about the release of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Ransom Riggs' YA debut. The book isn't even out yet, and the film rights have already been sold to 20th Century Fox with Peter Chernin attached to produce.

To help promote the title, we've got an awesome book trailer that Ransom himself helped put together. He flew out to Belgium to shoot in several creepy old houses, bringing back some really fantastic footage. Our friends (and his), Dirty Robber, shot the scenes with Jacob and his grandfather in Los Angeles.

PS: Want to get into the book a little early? Ransom has been leaking chapters on Mental Floss these past few weeks. Right now you can read up to Chapter 3, free, right here on Quirkbooks.com

Your awesome book trailer sold me on this. I ran out and got it on its release day and I loved it. Well done. I'll be looking for other books from you knowing the quality in not only content but the way this book was designed and put together. Well done. http://www.stainlesssteeldroppings.com/miss-peregrines-home-for-peculiar-children-ransom-riggs

I have been waiting for a book like this.

I read the book on Saturday and loved it. Creepily elegant story pairing great characterization with photos that range from the sublimely normal to the poignantly odd.

I have a very bright 11 year old...trying to decide if this book would appropriate for her or is it a little too 'young adult'? thanks.

I am 12 and a half years old and I was wondering if this book would be too frightening for me. I have read the hunger games series and the twilight series. I loved them!!!! Now I am looking for a new book to read and I came across "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children". Please comment and let me now if you think it is okay if I read this book because I would love too.

Yes i read it when I was 11. It is a little confusing at first but all in all it was awsome.

Does the kindle version of the book contain the images?

Yep, my Kindle version has all the images (there are more than just photos!)

Yes the Kindle version contains all the pictures! It's great! (:
